Elderly care at home in Gulu
Companionship and practical support can be part of an older person’s care at home. Patiendra Home Nurses arranges elderly care in Gulu and Northern Uganda after reviewing the person’s needs and the support being requested.
Request care at homeSupport with everyday care
An initial conversation can help families explain the everyday assistance they are seeking. Support may include companionship, personal hygiene, bathing and feeding assistance, and mobility and comfort support.
Describe the kind of help needed without trying to choose a treatment plan through the website. The assessment guides the proposed care, and arrangements depend on staff availability and the person’s location.
When daily support includes nursing needs
Some requests include both everyday assistance and nursing support. Medication adherence and reminders, vital-sign monitoring, blood pressure monitoring and blood glucose monitoring may be discussed during assessment.
The level of support is confirmed for the individual. Age alone does not determine a care package or its price. Patient and caregiver education may also be included where agreed as part of the assessed support.

How care is arranged
- Request and review. Share the initial care need, location and preferred schedule. An administrator reviews your request.
- Assessment and quotation. Assessment guides the care fee. Your quotation includes care, location-based transport paid by the client, and any approved additional charges.
- Approval and payment. You approve the quotation. At least 75% of the approved total must be paid and verified before dispatch clearance. Only verified payments count.
- Assignment and scheduling. An administrator assigns an available nurse and confirms the schedule and dispatch clearance after all requirements are met.
Please allow at least 24 hours to prepare and arrange a nurse. This minimum notice does not guarantee dispatch or replace any of the steps above.
